Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Toolifyx at https://www.toolifyxapp.comand related pages (the "Service"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Toolifyx offers free browser-based utilities such as image compression, PDF merge/split/compress, word counting, and document helpers. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. Core tools do not require an account today. If we introduce accounts later, additional terms may apply.

Your content and responsibilities

• You retain rights to files and data you process with Toolifyx.
• You must have the legal right to use, edit, and export any content you upload.
• You are responsible for reviewing outputs before sending them to clients, employers, courts, or stores.
• Do not use the Service to process unlawful, infringing, or malicious material.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or overload the Service or our infrastructure
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service to bypass limits or security
• Use automated means to abuse free tiers or impose unreasonable load
• Violate applicable laws, including copyright, privacy, and export controls

No professional advice

Toolifyx provides general-purpose software tools, not legal, tax, medical, or financial advice. Invoices, resumes, and similar outputs are templates only. Consult qualified professionals for compliance in your region.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE FREE OF ERRORS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLIFYX AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO FOR FREE USE) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Toolifyx against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Intellectual property

The Toolifyx name, branding, site design, and original code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or misrepresent our brand. Open-source libraries used in the project remain subject to their respective licenses.

Termination

We may suspend or limit access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or pose a risk to the platform. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Toolifyx operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction may have exclusive venue for disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Changes

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
